February Favourites

Oh wow... Its been like 2 weeks since I'd last updated. The reason..? Umm... Korean dramas!?

Alright, I love procrastinating and sitting down doing nothing. So much for a healthy lifestyle.

Anyway, so here are some of what I have been loving this month.

Mac Fresco Rose Paint Pot
Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer 119 Lipgloss

YSL Collector Powder for Eyes and Complexion Palette

The Body Shop Promegranate & Raspberry Body, Room & Linen Spritz
The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Body Milk
The Face Shop Su Hyang Snow Boosting Toner

There isn't much make up this month. Mostly is due to the fact that I've been rotating my daily makeup between a few items and haven't been really feeling adventurous with bright bold colors or other brands.

So how's your life? I think mine's quite alright. I mean, doing the mundane routine thing everyday, you can't get excited or enthusiastic with that.

So, tata.. ^_^

Crest Whitening Strips Professional Effect
Samsung Monte phone

My favourite part of all the gifts, make up.
Some MAC lipsticks, lipglosses and Haute Naughty Lash mascara, and Dashing Lassie eyeshadow palette
YSL face powder palette

Best Beauty Products 2010

This is sort of late as its already mid Jan 2011 and I'm still living in the world of 2010. And OMG, I can't seem to keep up with my new year's resolution = Blog as frequently as I can.

I have to stay motivated in any sort of way **acting tough**

So here are the things that I used so often in 2010 that I can't really live without them. The reason that they are a keeper is due to either that they give tip top quality/consistency/texture, or they are heavenly scented, they don't break me out, or they perform excellently in their relevant fields, or just simply the brand that comes together are just too hard to resist.

Hopefully, I'll get to discover greater new stuff this year (of course, by splurging more moolah and experiment on the vast amount of products out there)

Perfume = Flora by Gucci

Face products:
Foundation = NARS Sheer Glow in Fiji
Primer = MAC Prep and Prime
Blush = MAC Blush Azalea Blossom
Powder = Skin Food White Grape Fresh Compact Powder

Eyes Products:
Eyeshadow primer = NARS Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base
Mascara = YSL Faux Clis Mascara
Concealer = Clinique Airbrush Concealer Light 03
Brow pencil = Benefit Instant Brow

Eyelash curler = Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler
Eyeshadow = Shu Uemura ME850 (taupe color)
Eyeliner = Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner Chocolate Shimmer Ink

Lips Products:
Lipstick = Givenchy Rouge Interdit 06 Precious Rose
Lip Gloss = MAC Plushglass Big Baby

Check out my video here ==> Youtube

I do find it quite peculiar that none of my Chanel makeup made it through this round. It ain't because I'm not crazy over Chanel's cosmetics (in fact, I just can't go a week without them), maybe its just that other products outshine Chanel's and I seem to grab other products more frequently than the big C.

And I'm sorry to say that I have a tendency to choose high ended products over drugstore/pharmacies ones. Maybe its the materialistic demon in me stirring ever so often that I tend to lose sight of how great sometimes low end cosmetics could be.

But fear not. Its 2011. I'm going to venture more into other brands and will try to stick to my meagre budget this year so that I don't hoard those expensive thingys in my drawer and forget about them (seriously, I think these branded ones are just for display and nothing else).

**Phew**

That's a lot of words....

So, enjoy your day everyone, have a great starting to 2011, and remember to stick to your New Year's Resolution. I'm sure you'll do better than me ^_^ Love you guys so much!!

YSL Series: Faux Clis Mascara

I'll let the pictures do the talking. Really, there's no point in trying to convince someone how effectively this products works by using words to describe.

Here's the proof!!

No mascara at all. Ignore the pimplish face. Its undergoing a phase of destruction -__-'''

And this is YSL Faux Clis Mascara without using the any eyelash curler. And look how my lashes try to stay northwards. Best of all it does lengthens and volumise. So its kinda a great product.

Can't get enough of this as I love how the packaging being all goldy and classic looking. Not to mention the gorgeous scent that it gives off.

However, priced at £20++ (US 30++) or rather Japanese Yen 4000, its really not what I would call it bank-saviour.

This is way way belated. Had uploaded the video on this HERE. Is it just me, or is this year flying by too fast?? I don't get it... Where did all my days went?? And its freaking November already.

Apologies for the lack of interesting topics on this blog. Because I'm boring like that. And nobody wants to take pictures of me :P

Face Of The Day

Face:
Fasio primer
Fasio concealer stick
Bobbi Brown liquid foundation
Elf bronzer and blusher
Clinique highlighter

Eyes:
Elf eye primer
Lancome palette
Mac satin taupe
Elf gel eyeliner
YSL mascara
Benefit brow pencil
Mac white eyeliner

Lip:
YSL rouge volupte 2

This is my favourite look at the moment. And I absolutely adore how easy it is to get this look. Took my about 45 minutes (plus the time of watching animes while doing my makeup). I just love Satin Taupe. I think I'm going to invest more on taupe and earthy color. I used to despise brown on my eyes as I thought they made me look muddy and dirty. Maybe my perceptions are wrong all these while.

Enough said... Chanel Taupe Gris and Vert Khaki, here I come!!!

Anniversary Haul

So, as you guys had already know, I'm a shopping freak who loves buying makeup with money isn't a problem. So this post is a haul video which features the things that were for me, by my boyfriend, well, not exactly like he bought it for me (cuz I'm doing all the shopping alone), but more yeah, these babies are from him.

Introducing you to the loot!!! I just love these shopping bags/shopper bag/whatever bag. Am collecting them. They are great for putting in stuff and turn to a gift bag for people's presents.

So, I've got a Kiss Kiss Lipstick from Guerlain and a free sample lotion. I love this lipstick a lot ^__^

Lipgloss from Chanel. Don't really know the exact true name cuz its in Japanese I'm lazy to check them up. So google them please if you are interested!!

Lipstick from Anna Sui. I like the packaging. Not so much on the product though. I wanna buy more of their products cuz they are just too cute to resist.

I don't think I need to introduce each and everyone of them, right?? Their names are clearly in the picture. Sigh, I'm getting so lazy to check their names and type each one of them. Typical me!!

My favourite part of the shopping trip is these 2 products because I was looking forward to buy them. And boy was I totally enchanted by them, love their smell, their colour, their application, their packaging, just practically every bits.

So yeah, this is just a tip of an iceberg cuz more hauls/purchases will be coming my way. Sigh.. That's why I say, I can't commit to a buying ban. So I'll just stick to a low buy (well, these were bought before I swear to my low buy).
