These Made Me Go Goose Bumps All Over

No, don't look at the Queen's Elizabeth's look-alike, take glance at the one beside her. All of these models + branded fashion clothings just made me go gaga and heads over heels which I simply can't express by words.

Courtesy of The Americana Manhasset Lookbook, I am falling in love with basic, simplistic looks all over. Maybe the fashion in Japan in just too much for my eyes and brain to process (with all the floral and layering), I just want some cool looking pieces as my eye candy.

My favourite? Michael Kors, surprisingly. Louis Vuitton fairs pretty well too.

I Wanna Get Engaged In This

I was totally oohing and aaahing over these 2 dresses.. The 1st bubbly puffy strapless beige dress is from Vivienne Westwood Gold Label, while the 2nd blue strapless full body length gown is from Victoria Beckham. And this is a hint to Yoong. Get me either of these 2 dresses or I'll not marry!! **hhmmpphh**

Well, I think that won't work, would it??

I just realized that whenever I'm taking photos of my outfits, I'll tend to not include my shoes. Maybe I don't wanna dirty the floor with my dirty shoes that's why the lack of it. And besides, there's nothing great about my shoes that I'd brought with me. I left 70% of my shoes back in the UK :(

p/s: I just found out that I love wearing flair skirt/dress. They cover up my big elephant tree trunk thunder thighs and sort of elongate my legs. I know, just an illusion. Sigh.... CLIS

I Really Need A Dress For Partay

KFC is having another Christmas party and I'm suppose to attend because I'm the supposedly responsible "EVENT COORDINATOR" (which by the way, I haven't got a clue what my duties are), therefore a sensible and yet elegant dress is yet to be found (or bought).

Alright, -__- I'm just trying to find an excuse to go shopping since I still think that my wardrobe is empty with prom dresses (**snigger** as if!! ppfftt) and I really do want to be make myself pretty anyway.

Oh yeah, remind me to get rid of my flabs and cellulite and elephant thighs and flabby arms and my ever drying up skin.

What I Wore For Interview, Boring...

As I don't look my best here, therefore, I'm just going to cover up my face -__-





I won't be labelling what's the brand of those clothes as this is nothing to shout about. Maybe its because of the not so formality of the attire that didn't win me the job?? OK, in this case, these attire certainly did get me a job, but I just didn't like it, therefore I rejected them (I can't do door-to-door sales, can I?)

The Woman In Me

KFC's measurement of clothes is super big. When its states UK8, its actually more of like a UK12 to me as I got this loose waist and long leg hem after wearing the pants. And the temptation to just use safety pin to simply pin up everything is too great as my sewing skills really sucks.



Anyway, here's my 1st attempt of sewing. Give me a round of applause please... **clap clap**. At least I know how to thread a needle and tie a knot at the end of the thread as well as sew it in a constant size wtf!!! -__-



But I do know it look shitty from the outside of the pants. Even my friends shake their heads as they saw the result of me sewing T__T. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait for Yoong to come back before having a nicely sew garment. For the time being, that's that!!!

Shoes - Prada

Oh dear, I just seem to get over the fact that I'm obsessed with browsing tons of shoes over the net and comparing their prices to my needs...

This time, the showcase would be Prada.

They are all under £170. Worth the money I would say.

OK, I need t get a grip of myself before finding myself floating in a mind of shoes...

Oh yeah, before I forgot, How are you doing today??? Everything good and smooth???

Shoes - Chloe

I'd recently stumbled upon a website which is called YOOX.COM where they sell discounted designer items. I was really thrilled when I get to see what the site has to offer.

The 1st thing I'd look into is CHLOE. I just adore Chloe... I mean, although I do not own any of them outfits, but I'm looking forward to owning a piece or 2...

But most importantly, let me just satisfy my cravings for this designer label by swooning on these cheap gorgeous shoes. I just simply love their bold bright colours, their straps, their design and most importantly, their chunky heels.

And the best part is they are all under £150 and in my size (ok, maybe they are out of season, but...). Aaaahhh, the glory of just owning one of them makes me shudder. Anyway, enough of this bullshit, I need to save money up before I could get my hands on 1 of them.

24th Birthday

Sorry guys, but entries of these few days would be about how I celebrated my birthday. I know, its lame and nothing to shout about, but I just wanna keep it for remembrance as nobody could celebrate their 24th bday twice in a life time...


So just bear with me.... Here goes...

Getting ready for the whole shopping trip. Put on make-up (which I seldom do).

Had luncheon in Lee Garden. Chee Cheong Fun. Don't ask me to translate in english, I haven't got a clue. It tasted alright... I wish that there were more sauce to soak the Fun...

Next up is this combination of roasted pork, roasted duck and soy sauce chicken to go with the stir-fry flat noodles. (what the heck, its only 4 words in chinese, "san shao he fen 三烧河粉")

I love the roast pork best. Its crunchy skin really adds texture and it doesn't have those distinctive porky smell. But the chicken was a total let-down. Too dry and tough, like they had been frozen for weeks. The noodles are too dry though, we had to ask for another bowl of sauce to drench the noodle.

Har gao. Or rather prawn dumpling. I love the filling but hate the skin. Its always like that. Can't find any decent har gao skin anywhere... Always a disappointment.

My favourite, the deep-fried bean curd skin with prawn filling. This is a total yum. I don't care whether its tasteless, cuz I do think that the chrunchiness of the skin and the springiness of the prawn filling really made up for the overall yum-level.

This looks cute. But Yoong forbid me to have them. T__T . He's paying, so gotta listen to the one with authority.

This shoe is the 1st picture I pasted in my previous post about how I love Topshop Shoes. I didn't get them, cuz it was a bit impractical for me as I don't go partying often. You can't expect me to walk on the streets in it, do you??

Eh, I love this a lot.. But the opening at the ankle is really big, which makes walking difficult. So, sadly, I put them away (I do mean sadly, as you could see my face turn black when I put them back to its respective shelf)

Poor him, gotta pay for his gf's greed. I really pity him you know, burning £200 off his wallet.

Anyway, had dinner at TGI Fridays. I know, how uncreative I can get, dining at TGI for my birthday, but you know, Yoong haven't been to one, so thought of letting him have a taste of the famous franchise.

Cam-whoring while waiting for food...

We had Oreo shake and Club Orange. The shakes a bit too sweet though...

My New York Strip glazed with signature Jack Daniel's sauce, onion rings and fries as sides... I tell you, this is so so so good. The aroma drifting out from the dish is totally heaven ( I can still picture it now, or rather smell it now) and the sauce is really up to my liking, sweet and tangy, which goes really well with the beef.

The only disappointment is that I'd ordered medium well, but it came as well done. No pinkish middle or whatsoever, but the meat was not too tough. But the sides are really a downfall. I mean I could go without them. They, supposingly crunchy, isn't at all.

I would say, the saviour of the whole dish is the sauce.

Yoong's Jack Daniel Chicken. He doesn't seem to enjoy it much. But he did like the sauce. You know, maybe we are more well suited to chinese dishes, you know, salty and oily and stir-fry.

The last stop, Movie House.

I know, I'm so so late in catching movies, I mean how long has Watchmen been screening, 1 month ago?? Overall, I'm not sure whether I like it or not. It has so much entertaining bits but yet the whole scene was mind disturbing. That's for another post though..
