I'm Starting to Revert Back to the Dependent Gal

Pai seh, picture of the toilet also show you all :P

So, the story is that when I thought that I had started to become independent of anyone, *meaning = doing stuff myself without the need to consult anyone and no daily life reporting to someone and do not feel the urge to talk to someone*, you came and mess up my heart by returning home and leaving me again :(

Sigh...

Guess I'll never be able to get over you, won't I?

Ooohh, by the way, did I ever tell you that you look dashing and gorgeous??
You still make my heart throb ^_^

Happy Quarter of a Century Birthday, My Dearest Yoong

I think I'm going to skip the mushy mushy lovey dovey words (don't want my readers to get goose bumps or die of getting too much chill in the spine), so here goes:

Happy Birthday, my one and only Yoong.

Yoong's HERE!!! Yippeee....

Woohooo... This is a scheduled post so I'm not going to post any pictures of him arriving at the arrival hall at the Kansai International Airport.

Of course, I won't forget to post pictures of us getting lovey dovey visiting various places, and doing fun stuff. So stay tune.

Did I mentioned that how much I love you guys??? MUUUAAAHHH... Another sloppy kiss for you wonderful people.

This Is Where I Belong

Its been 5/6 years since we last had our family portrait. Well, all of us are all grown up now. All morphed into somebody who are more matured (well, except me maybe) and of course, having different goals in their lives. But nontheless, we still stick together as a family, and that is what counts, right??

And by the way, I had been lazy to upload any photos onto facebook, bad of me. But I'll try, I can't promise. Haven't got any real internet connection (slow like hell, where is my 5MB internet speed??) for the pass few days thus the lack of updating and I wanna apologize for that. This will continue till I reach Japan this Friday so bear with me people till then. I know you will, right? ^__^

Oh yeah, and I wanna thank all of those who stumble upon my blog or specifically click to read my blog for the last few weeks. I haven't been updating much but the readership is still there. Thank you. I really appreciate it.

Oh yeah, I'm starting to really dislike the hot weather, like really hate. And I can't wait to get my ass out of here. Yeah, don't even remind me that I'm coming back 3 years later for permanent residency -__-''

What Is It Like To Be Seperated From Your Boyfriend?

1. You'll have insomnia or sleepless nights, tossing and turning in bed, thinking about everything that you had done together or are going to acheive next time.

2. Daydream like there's no tomorrow. Basically, your mind is blank, just constant flashes of his image every now and then.

3. Your appetite may either grow or vice versa. It really depends on how stressful you are. Some people may eat just to counter the loneliness or some just don't wanna eat because your emotions are all focused on how sad you are.

4. You tend to pay higher monthly telephone bills.

5. Trying to stay strong on the outside, brave the loneliness by going shopping alone, buying stuff according to your instinct and not on other's opinion, but deep down, you know that you want him that instance.

6. Get closer to your friends. Those that you had long lost contacted has now been revived due to your incapability to cope with the lonesome-ness

7. Suddenly, family seems to be very important and you just can't live without them and acknowledging how you could always fall back into their wrath if something goes wrong.

8. Those dusty antique photos of those good ol' times together suddenly becomes more valuable and no more are they sitting in old archives (I mean, in the virtual world).

9. You had grown wiser and braver due to the fact that you have no choice but to solve your own problems and face your own adversity, by yourself that is..

10. You touch your side, and its empty, and then you really know, he's not here :(

Thursday, April 1, 2010

Woohoo... Its really hot here.

The 1st reaction when I 1st step down the flight was: "OMG!! Am I in an oven or something??"

And the next thing I knew, was that I was sweating like a pig. And was totally uncomfortable with the sticky sweaty feeling all over, I was determine to go home and stay inside an aircond room.

But its great to see my family (not yet friends as there's some things that I would like to settle 1st such as my Visa) and certainly not forgetting the ever mushrooming variety of food in Malaysia.

And I took a few photos just to let you guys see what I had for meals ^__^ (or rather, this is quite a plain and useless post for Malaysian).

Chronologically:
Bak Kua (Dried Meat)
Prawn Noodles
Kon Lo Mein (Dry Noodles)
Otak Otak (Steam Spicy Fish Cake)
Popiah

And they are all absolutely my favourite. OK, I'm hungry liao. Writing this post at 6am in the morning (still jetlag I think) and going to have breakfast with the parents ^__^ (never thought that I would say this)

Another 5 more days

and I'll be turning 25. Sounds so old to me. Its like, "Auntie ah, you have wrinkles liao, do you wanna buy this anti-aging cream or not?", coming my way -__-'''

I'd got my presents. The boyfriend is totally efficient in buying the treasures that I'd wanted a long time ago (alright, maybe not so long time ago, just few weeks ago). And of course, to eliminate the need of wasting money on some surprise gifts that I dislike, I choose all those presents myself, with him taking out his credit card to swipe.

Thanks Osh Osh!!

But this time, I'm not that looking forward to my birthday. Because day after that, I'm returning to Malaysia and leaving UK :-( And yup, I really can't bear to leave him alone here in UK. We really have to get loads of things sorted out before getting seperated for 3 years.

Damn!!! 3 years seems to be such a long time...

~ My Milkshake Brings All The Boy To The Yard ~

Lately, me and Yoong just can't stop singing this song. Especially the Amanda (from Ugly Betty Series)' s version of the song, the scene just totally stuck into our heads. Hilarious!!!

There's a coffee shop by the name of Jen's Cafe which situated near our house has this milkshake bar thing where they sell hundred types (or so they claimed) of flavours for your choice of milkshake.

Of course, the sweet tooth devil in me unleashed its power and has been nagging me ever since to give it a try. And thus, on a sunny afternoon we went...

Photobucket
Yup, those are the flavours and you could see so many types of candies and chocolate hanging in each compartment respectively. This is what I call Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory (or maybe not -__-'')

Photobucket
We asked for Lion Bar + Fruit Salad + Blue Millions + Whip Cream and Haribu. Both taste milky and sweet. I much preferred the Lion something milkshake. Just hated the small bits of candy chews inside the Haribu. Yup, I absolutely hated gummy bear ever since I was a kid.

Photobucket
The master of milkshake.

That's me studying my notes before going to my job. Doing homework before even start working.

Can't really concentrate when people around me are talking though.

So, tell me, what's your favourite flavour milkshake?? Where did you get it??

Happy 1 & 1/2 Year Anniversary To Us!!!

Photobucket
Really can't believe that we have been together thick and thin, ups and downs, happy and sad, ugly and pretty for this long... I can still vividly remember our meeting at 1st sight, holding hands for the 1st time, edging closer to each other for the 1st time...

Anyway, Happy ... (blah*3) Anniversary to you, my dear Yoong.

And by the way, do you like my new layout?? I absolute love it. Simplicity and minimalist. And big ass pictures. Just the way I wanted it to be. Its not done yet. Just a couple of more touches and I'll finally be able to proudly call it my HOME!!

Finally, He's Back!!!

Yup, as loads of you had already know, my bf is back!!!! Yippee!!! (although it has already been like 5 days but still, the feeling of happiness... aaaahhhh....)

Had been waiting for this moment like a million thousand times when he just left Belfast back to Malaysia and was praying hard that he could come back safely, and now he's back, the reality is just so so unreal and feeling the warmth of his body made me feel calm.

And of course, when someone comes back from Malaysia, he/she'll surely buy all sorts of food stuff which would stir childhood memories cuz we are starving in UK like that (well, the food here in UK really sucks)

Can't describe the feeling when he 1st step out of the Arrival Door. The overwhelming sweet and ecstatic feeling just came gushing out and we stood there speachless for like 10 seconds, just smiling at each other and hug each other tightly.

That's definitely the best moment for me since the last 2 years of coming here.

Oh yeah, without having dinner yet, we started to camwhore. 1st picture together after 2 months of seperation.

Look at the mountain of junk food he brought back. Totally could fill us up to Christmas (he says!!) And there's another box of junk food making its way here to Belfast by ship. OMG!!! We really are a food junkie. But you really can't blame us as the snacks here in UK really is like shit. They either are too salty or too bland.

And yup, Malaysian spices are always the best and the tastiest and most variety ever. You'll get Malay, Chinese, Indian, Nyonya and even Indonesian packaged sauces. Buying sauces here in UK would easily set you back by RM7-RM10 per pack which is the minimum.
Oh yeah, not forgetting the dry goods such as Dried Prawns and Mushrooms..

Well, this section is like a bit on the "paltry sum" side. And yup, your eyes aren't deceiving you as he had bought 4 packet of toothbrush (cuz toothbrush here are expensive -__-).

The most intriguing item would be the Tetris Brick Game that he bought for $2 Sing Dollars. I'm still wondering what is he gonna do with it...

Love what my parents got me, a batik dress for me and shirt for him and my 2009 birthday present (a Platinum pendant).

Last but not least, the Shin Chan-light-sensor-head-shaking-dummy which really lighten up my day. Shoulda record a video of it shaking its head vigorously whenever there's bright light shone upon it.

How's The Food on Our 1st Year Anniversary?

We had our dinner at Tony Roma's and the food was definitely worth a steal, or should I say yummilicious. But of course, not all of them and man, did we finish them all.

Our starter was this sweet chilli wings thingy and it was yummy, for the 1st few ones though, as the more we ate, the more they tasted like dessert and we found it hard to gobble them down like normal chicken.

This is the famous ribs of Tony Roma's except that I asked for a combo meal instead of the whole rack of ribs. The crunchy prawns were fried to perfection and the ribs tasted good (just that the meat was a tad too little and too bony for ribs sake!). Love the boiled green beans sauteed with butter. A 4 out of 10 for the fries. But the 2 sauces (sour tangy red one and the herb mayo) was really quite a noah for the whole platter (noah save the day/the animals).

Great stuff this chocolate shake was. A typical shake fit for my liking.

I love love love x 100 this mango cocktail. Its so sweet that for a while I thought I was having juice. But the fiery finish at the end of the throat really stopped me from drinking more. But still, I'll definitely come back for more of this sweet alcoholic drink. The slice of pineapple is really just for deco, no fuse...

The salad to go with Yoong's chicken. Didn't try it as I hated salad.

The breast of chicken. We always wonder why the hell does chicken breasts always have to taste bland and tough!?? I mean, isn't there a way to tenderize the meat and flavour it before serving to customers. This is a huge let down for the night. But Yoong did enjoy the champs (mash potatoes with spring onions), and the big eater couldn't finish his share, that's like so weird...

Wonder why did he pick out this shirt. I mean, really, this is a special occassion and I sure wish that he could be more properly dressed. But still, happy anniversary my dear.

Last but not least, the ice cream as dessert. Just simple plain old ice cream, and I'm paying freaking £5 for this glass of crap. Well, its not that crap actually, just that once you taste it, you know that its those ice cream from Tesco, and its the value one too.

Service was attentive that night, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself, downing food into my stomach and trying to burst it. I do think its the company that night that made the food tastier ^__^ and Yoong just couldn't stop looking at me that night, muahahahaha.....

Cheers Liang Zi, we finally arrive to a year's supply of love and may there be more love and affection in the future.

The Day of Love

Just a simple dinner and some present exchange... That's how I celebrated my Vday...

Champagne (ok, I lied, it ain't no champagne, its sparkling juice) opening time... Scared the witts outta me as the cork suddenly pops out...

Meat of the day, steam chicken with mushrooms and dates... The chicken was like smooth and fragrant when it once enter my mouth ... yummy... If you want the recipe, you could ask me though...will definitely share it with you.

Kangkung belacan, but without sambal... its alright (if compared to my dad's version)

The apple juice is totally out of the world. It gives off a fruity fragrant and when you sip it, it ain't too sweet with a tiny hint of sourness...

My present... from Amazon...

Its a griller.... Ok, Initally, I intend to put the sign -_- but ummm, since its a gift from Yoong and I didn't present him with a better gift so I guess I'm totally gonna accept this gift with a happy heart.

My gift to Yoong..

Its chocolate alright (as you had read in my previous entry)..
The chocolate is heavenly. Not like those cadbury or swedish chocolate that you have taste before... its a totally different dimension... I can't describe to you all of them, but trust me, its really really good.

Last but not least, the Ferrero Rocher... Umm... Its finish even before Valentine's but I do love the heart shape...
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I'm actually wondering whether should I write a small note here... Haiz... Anyway, the company that offer me a job here is only going to employ me in JUNE!!! Can you believe it?? I have to work in KFC for another 3 months... GODAMNIT!!! T__T
