This is sort of late as its already mid Jan 2011 and I'm still living in the world of 2010. And OMG, I can't seem to keep up with my new year's resolution = Blog as frequently as I can.

I have to stay motivated in any sort of way **acting tough**

So here are the things that I used so often in 2010 that I can't really live without them. The reason that they are a keeper is due to either that they give tip top quality/consistency/texture, or they are heavenly scented, they don't break me out, or they perform excellently in their relevant fields, or just simply the brand that comes together are just too hard to resist.

I do find it quite peculiar that none of my Chanel makeup made it through this round. It ain't because I'm not crazy over Chanel's cosmetics (in fact, I just can't go a week without them), maybe its just that other products outshine Chanel's and I seem to grab other products more frequently than the big C.

And I'm sorry to say that I have a tendency to choose high ended products over drugstore/pharmacies ones. Maybe its the materialistic demon in me stirring ever so often that I tend to lose sight of how great sometimes low end cosmetics could be.

But fear not. Its 2011. I'm going to venture more into other brands and will try to stick to my meagre budget this year so that I don't hoard those expensive thingys in my drawer and forget about them (seriously, I think these branded ones are just for display and nothing else).

The project presentation to the upper ranking people was quite successful without any major glitches (meaning, no unanwered questions)

That I'm going home in another hours time ^_^

An Almost-Happen Accident Caused by Me o_O

I was walking along the side walk, looking intently at my MP3, wondering what songs should I choose to play when I felt a stare.

It was those weird feeling where you get goosebumps all over when a pair of eyes just stare at you.

I looked up, and saw a guy of his late twenties (quite good looking I must add) crossing the road to my side walk, looking at me intently.

I wasn't really annoyed at 1st but when I thought that he would look away if I look up, damn was I wrong!! He didn't look away.

So he was crossing the road and staring at me at the same time. I don't wanna be a chicken and then I look back at him.

Then I saw a van coming towards the man, and of course, with HIS EYES ON ME, he was oblivious to the surroundings and did not notice the van driving towards him.

And then I thought to myself, "He's gonna get knocked down by the car!"

And then a loud SHCREEEE (tires stopping abruptly if you are wondering what the hell was that suppose to mean) and a HORN, the van abruptly break in front of the guy.

The man stop just in time within inches from the van (don't ask me how I knew that, cuz I saw that the van was exactly on the spot where the man had stood).

He friend was laughing when he rush towards him to aid him.

I laugh to myself silently.

I always thought that accidents caused by looking at pretty woman would only occur in movies or commercials. Little did I know that THIS WOULD ACTUALLY HAPPEN TO ME ^_^

The moral of the story?? Don't ever stare at pretty woman (or just woman) when you are on the road!!

Do You Wanna Know What's Lucky?

Lucky is...

1. Upon reaching your house doorstep, the sky only starts to pour heavily.

2. Finding your favourite chewing gum in the supermarket when you just complained to your friend that your favourite chewing gum is not in stock an hour ago.

3. Buying food that you need which are reduced half in price.

4. To find an extra $10 in your purse when you thought you are broke.

5. Being here in Japan and get to use the airconditioning 24/7 without needing to pay electric bills.

6. Being able to own MAC's Stereo Rose and Petticoat which are sold out elsewhere.

7. Getting to eat free $10 worth of dinner every night on weekdays.

8. Owning a dozen of makeups constituted from different brands.

9. Having a loving family, a loving boyfriend and a loving God.

10. Being alive.

All of the above are applicable to me in one day ^__^ and hopefully for the rest of my life :D

Konichiwa.... From Japan

Just to say a quick Hi!!!! to you guys because I'd been a bad blogger, neglecting my blog and all.

Many things had happen, the worse thing of all that happen (since arriving in Osaka), was that I cut my finger with the umbrella and blood was oozing everywhere (which literally meant that my left hand was thoroughly soaking with blood), which scared the shit out of my dad and my friend who were beside me.

And with our broken English (my friend is an ang moh), we tried to get some handyplus (bandage) from the shop keeper and luckily enough, people here were so so friendly that the lady went all out to help me clean my wound as well as plaster it.

Its totally a different experience here in Osaka. And I think I'm starting to like this city. Just that the loneliness is eating me up. I think I would immerse myself in work (which I heard that everyone in the firm has to work from 9am - 9pm) to forget that awful feeling.

So, how are you guys doing?? I hope that you are doing better than me ^__^
Anyway, I really miss blogging, and would certainly post more pictures during the weekend, because internet here keep on f***king up and I had to restart my laptop like a 1000 times -__-'''

My Christmas Present

A very very "hiong" (fragrant) bear bear. I just love it. But its a pity that I can't hug it while sleeping cuz its not covered in pastic and I'm not sure where had it been to.

And a very "chim" (...... dunno how to translate this, more like.... chio... -__-''', ok I'm not helping here) bag. Unsure what to do with it though.


Got this by surprise. Actually, I was suppose to get a Paris Hilton perfume (and boy does that smell every so great, my friends totally love it), but ended up with this coffee maker set.

Can make my own coffee using powder ^__^ cuz everytime I'm using the normal coffee bags/powder. Now I am an Orang Atasan (high class society) [ok, I really have to stop mixing my English with other languages or I'll totally confuse my own choice of vocab]

These are the ones that I bought for me self. And I ABSO - FREAKING - LUTELY LOVE IT!!! I wore the big ass purple corsage on my hair, and I really do have to say, I look so extravagant and elegant :P And I'd used up the colours in the eye shadow palette and glad to say that it was great.

Although the blush was a bit of a sheer colour, but I like how subtle it is. Now I can apply more layers -__-'''

And the Barry M's lipsticks are really out of this world. Why didn't I discover them sooner?? Thanks to Youtube/Makeup Gurus that I had found my dream lipsticks.

And this, is my very 1st set of proper soft-synthetic-bristles makeup brushes. And I am not regretting the decision of spending £11 on them.

OK, I'm not sure why blogger isn't uploading this picture properly. The brushes are from Essence of Beauty and I get to know them through my friend Tze Yan and through Youtube makeup gurus.

And boy am I enjoying every bit of it. But I still haven't get to use them cuz I wanna treasure them so I wasn't planning to destroy them so soon with my cheapo makeups -__-''' And I actually used my MAC brushes more often instead, -__-''' x 100

These brushes are 2 sided, like super save space but its a pity that they can't be place upright (if in the future I'm going to get a jar for all my brushes) so have to let them to lie down.

Of course when I say collecting, what I meant is that I will probably go for those branded or better quality ones and start collecting them.

This would be sort of the brand new hobby/investment that I will do profoundly because after all these years, it seems that I have major crush on these 3 sections and wouldn't mind watching videos or window shopping on them.

And for all those anonymous that would write how stuck-up, wasteful, show-off, cold-hearted-gal-who-doesn't donate-to-the-poor-instead, materialistic brat, just shut the F up and go read other's blog because I'm doing something that would makes me happy and I've only got 1 lifetime (another 50+ years to go only), so why can't I spent it the way I want??

Don't worry people, I will certainly set aside some cash for savings in case of some EMERGENCY so, quit worrying about how I'm going to die old and penniless...

I'm Definitely Weird

Finally, He's Back!!!

Yup, as loads of you had already know, my bf is back!!!! Yippee!!! (although it has already been like 5 days but still, the feeling of happiness... aaaahhhh....)


Had been waiting for this moment like a million thousand times when he just left Belfast back to Malaysia and was praying hard that he could come back safely, and now he's back, the reality is just so so unreal and feeling the warmth of his body made me feel calm.


And of course, when someone comes back from Malaysia, he/she'll surely buy all sorts of food stuff which would stir childhood memories cuz we are starving in UK like that (well, the food here in UK really sucks)

Can't describe the feeling when he 1st step out of the Arrival Door. The overwhelming sweet and ecstatic feeling just came gushing out and we stood there speachless for like 10 seconds, just smiling at each other and hug each other tightly.

That's definitely the best moment for me since the last 2 years of coming here.


Oh yeah, without having dinner yet, we started to camwhore. 1st picture together after 2 months of seperation.

Look at the mountain of junk food he brought back. Totally could fill us up to Christmas (he says!!) And there's another box of junk food making its way here to Belfast by ship. OMG!!! We really are a food junkie. But you really can't blame us as the snacks here in UK really is like shit. They either are too salty or too bland.

And yup, Malaysian spices are always the best and the tastiest and most variety ever. You'll get Malay, Chinese, Indian, Nyonya and even Indonesian packaged sauces. Buying sauces here in UK would easily set you back by RM7-RM10 per pack which is the minimum.

Oh yeah, not forgetting the dry goods such as Dried Prawns and Mushrooms..

Well, this section is like a bit on the "paltry sum" side. And yup, your eyes aren't deceiving you as he had bought 4 packet of toothbrush (cuz toothbrush here are expensive -__-).

The most intriguing item would be the Tetris Brick Game that he bought for $2 Sing Dollars. I'm still wondering what is he gonna do with it...

Love what my parents got me, a batik dress for me and shirt for him and my 2009 birthday present (a Platinum pendant).

Last but not least, the Shin Chan-light-sensor-head-shaking-dummy which really lighten up my day. Shoulda record a video of it shaking its head vigorously whenever there's bright light shone upon it.

Yup, Us Being Friends Meant That There's No Racial Descrimination

I'm proud to say that she's my best mate in my work place. And ironically, this is the 1st time I went shopping with her. Its not like those girly girly shopping, but more of a "I need to get some things for my ... " kinda shopping.

She's from Poland and we do get along really well together. Although there's a bit of a communication problem when we started out as friends, but really quickly, we get used to each other's english ^__^









Having dinner at a eatery. Can't remember the name of the shop -__-. Yup, that's me, not knowing what's the name of any shops except Zara and Boots and Ted Baker and House of Fraser and ....

Tex Mex Chicken Chop. Didn't taste that, its hers...



This is mine, sizzling chicken chop on a bed of mushrooms and onions. Well, it didn't taste alright and I'm giving it a thumbs down. 1st of all, the chicken is quite tough and bland, no saltiness or whatsoever and I hated onions. The only saving grace would be the mushrooms which were bursting with full of sweetness and flavour and the gravy to accompany the chicken.



Nah, you can see how small a portion the mushrooms were. If it were for them, I wouldn't had finished the plate. And of course, I did leave a pile of onions for the dish washer to throw.

Well, I am glad that at least in this tough period of time, there are friends that could make me happy and feel welcomed. Glad that you are my friend, gal!!! ^__^

Human's Are Attracted To Water/Beach

I heard from someone (not sure who was it!?) that humans are 70% (or is it 60%) made from water therefore we tend to love water/get closer to water/attracted to water of any form.

I do think this statement is so true, as the 3 of us (me, Yoong and his friend) discover a beach, we were like kids being offered a lollipop, nothing could describe how happy we were...

We didn't care whether if we brought any spare clothes to change in case we wet outselves, we just dash to the lovely beach after getting down from the rented car and taking off our shoes.

The lovely sound of waves really is soothing. The differences between the beach in Northern Ireland and Malaysia are that the water is freezing cold here while the latter is warm and the beach here is free from rubbish.

Found a pebble (alright, just a normal stone) and wanted to do a triple jump with it on the water but fail terribly... Just a one big "domp" and the stone sank.. :-(

Look at them boys -__- Love their shoes so much, keeping them away from the sand as high as possible.

Cold soothing water. And its really shallow. Great for wading far...

Found a dead jellyfish, and trying to poke it to see if its alive (but shit lah, it doesn't got any legs anymore and I think its organs is teared away, but still, poking it, like the konyaku [japanese type of jelly but firmer] feeling of it)

See??? I didn't lie. It lost its tentacles and its just a lump of jelly. Call it Mr Jelly (eliminating the fish word).

The dog likes it too. See?? We mammals are all one big family.

To lazy to elaborate. What can I say. Its a nice bitch/beach. And we are clearly enjoying ourselves.

Lovely waves. No huge ones. Like delicate babies they are. One after the other.

Its definitely worth the trip. And that's the only beach I'd visited in this 3 years. Pathetic isn't it??
