Homemade Laksa

This laksa ain't those that is traditionally made from scratch or the ingredients are like those selling in the shops. Its Yoong and Cindy unoriginal laksa but taste excellent all the same.

The ingredients for 2 are:
A pack of ready made laksa paste
350ml coconut milk
Half a pack of Yeo's rice vermicelli
2 eggs
2 sausages
A handful of prawns
4 crabsticks
Couple leaves of chinese cabbage
A handful of scallop (being high-class here)
Some deep-fried bean curd skin
Salt and pepper to your taste

1st, boil some water and dunk all ingredients (vermicelli, sausages, crabsticks, scallop, prawns, cabbage) into it and cook them. Well, of course you have to cook them seperately -_- or else some of the ingredients would over-cooked or vice-versa.

Then make your hard boil egg. We boil our egg for 7 minutes. Then peel the husk off.

Place all ingredients into a bowl.

Or maybe you can put the ingredient into the curry soup if you like. Well, for the curry paste, just add the paste, the coconut milk and add some salt if you want. Make sure its boiling hot.

Then Wuala... A bowl full of goodness and crunchiness and slurpiness. Very syiok man.

Looks really tempting right?? After craving for laksa for 1 and a half years, its time to tuck in. I'd say, its really good to eat it in such a cold weather.

p/s: As you have already realize, all my cooking ain't starting from scratch. I must say, ready made paste or sauces really saves time and taste equally good. Of course, I can't proudly say that its my original recipe, but who cares anyway, as long as my taste buds and tummy are happy. SO CHEERS TO INSTANT SAUCES.
